Snapshots all aboard the Polar Express… aka the British Pullman 🚂🎄🎁

I’ve been on a mission to explore then most magical train journeys around the world. So this year we celebrated Christmas a little early booking the Christmas lunch on board the iconic @belmondbritishpullman train. I’ve been wanting to do this for ages and it truly might be one of the best UK experiences we’ve ever had!

What’s included? 🚂⬇️
🎄 Welcome drinks and music at the Pullman Lounge at Victoria Station. We had mulled wine by the Christmas tree before boarding
🍽️ A five course menu. Our menu featured salmon tartare, delicious roasted celeriac + beauvale soup, mains a choice of roast fillet of beef or turkey, a Black Forest snowflake dark cherry compote, cheeseboard, and coffee or tea + petit fours
🥂 Champagne immediately poured when you arrive at your seats. We were surprised it’s pretty free flowing throughout the journey
🍷 A bottle of wine is included with lunch. You can pick red, white or rosé
🎤 Singers onboard come through the carriages singing Christmas tunes! They were so fun, we loved this!
🚂 You stay on board for a journey from London through the British countryside of Kent. It was from 11am-4pm. You’ll have a chance to stretch your legs at a station along the way with mulled wine and tunes on the platform
🎟️ Tickets from £495 each. It’s a luxury day out, but you do get quite a lot (5 course menu, 5 hour festive train journey with entertainment, bottle of wine, champagne, mulled wine). It’s an experience!

Would we book this again? Absolutely!!! I’ll share more details to come, but this was such an incredible day, I’m so glad I booked it for Christmas 🥰

Is this the most beautiful library in New York City? ✨📖📚

The New York Public Library is one of the most iconic places in New York… in my literary loving opinion. The New York Public Library is the second largest public library in the United States (the Library of Congress is first) AND it’s the fourth largest IN THE WORLD.

And it is FREE to enter!!! You can go to work or study in this space totally free - and as a tourist you are welcome to visit (again, for free) and check out these rooms as well - though not interrupting study/work, of course. I’d absolutely recommend visiting around the holidays for the bonus addition of the beautiful decorations too! 🎄

This is the famous @chatsworthofficial located in the Peak District in England. Pride and Prejudice fans this is a MUST when you’re visiting England. This was the filming location for Pemberley, Mr Darcy’s home. And of course, it’s even better at Christmas! PS this was last year’s display and decor, so it will be a little different this year too!🎄

Day One
🌌 Book a desert safari with @platinumheritage for an authentic desert and dinner experience, this is an absolute must experience!!

Day Two
🌆 Head to @auraskypool.dubai for sunrise, a magical experience! PS we loved their iced coffee!
🌊 JetSki with Nemo WaterSports, take in the epic sights
🥗 Lunch at @FrenchRivieraBeach @JumeirahAlQasr
⛳️ @topgolfdubai at sunset with the epic views of the skyline (order the nacho tower + thank me later!)

Day Three:
💐 Head to the @dubaimiraclegarden
🍰 Brunch at @brunchandcake, the Nutella French Toast is so good!!
💦 Relax by the pool for the afternoon, you deserve it!
🏙️ Visit @atthetopburjkhalifa - Going up 456 meters couldn’t be easier! I’d recommend a sunset visit + watch the Dubai Fountain Show
🍝 Dinner at @public, fun Italian spot with views of Burj Khalifa

Day Four
🥞 Breakfast at the lovely @mazmicafe
🇦🇪 Visit the Old Town, stroll the markets + learn the history of the city & go on a river boat!

What a view from the top of the Old Town Hall Towe

What a view from the top of the Old Town Hall Tower in the centre of Prague! This might be my favourite view in the city at Christmastime 🎄🏰✨

Everything you need to know for your visit ⤵️
📆 You can buy tickets in advance or on the day.
🕰 The entrance is through the wooden doors to the left of the Astronomical Clock down below.
🎟 Tickets are 350 CZK around £12 each
🏃‍♀️ It’s a hike to the top. It’s around 6 floors up (the tower is 70 metres high!) but only one staircase at the very top, it’s more of a sloped walk to get up there.
🔝 You can also pay a little bit extra to skip the walk and take the elevator to the top
📸 It’s outside! There is a little square perimeter around the top of the tower that you can walk around to take in the views (and take ALL the photos). It’s a tight squeeze, you can really only fit one person at a time walking around it. Be patient, you’ll see everything!
🌆 The views are AMAZING and it’s so worth it that we did it twice!

I’ve always wanted to visit Atlantis - The Palm, the pink palace in Dubai 😍. To me, it has always looked like a magical mermaid’s kingdom, and it truly is. With the vibrant colourful interiors, iconic pink hotel exterior and the absolutely incredible aquarium, I absolutely did feel like a mermaid staying here 🧜‍♀️!

While it’s a kid-friendly hotel, we found there were so many great spaces and it felt like such a unique stay. They have over 30 restaurants and bars to choose from (there’s so much choice!), various beach clubs and pools, plus they also are home to the largest waterpark in the world, Aquaventure Waterpark 💦.

Is it too soon to want to go back already?! 👀
