If I had to pick my favourite things in life… it looks something like wine, sleep, cheese, manor homes and Joe. So naturally when I get to combine all of my favourite things… I’m in!
Last week I had the absolute pleasure of being whisked away to Suffolk with Boursin for a few nights in the countryside sipping wine, eating non-stop cheese and quite frankly, having the time of my life.

We also enjoyed the ultimate mega packed grazing table on our first evening by the pool (and right past the tennis court!). A table so full of food that we quite literally grazed on it the entire night long – and well into the next day!
The house also comes complete with a fully stocked fridge – and yes – full of Boursin to enjoy! I’m pretty sure we had it for every single meal… the DREAM.
Personally, I can highly recommend Boursin in your scrambled eggs for breakfast. Or added into a delicious pasta salad for lunch. Clearly, if there’s a will, there’s a way because we can add it into absolutely everything.
Seven Course Tasting Menu and Masterclass
As a matter of fact, it’s entirely possible for even a seven course tasting menu to include Boursin in each and every single dish.
Joined by local Suffolk chef Vernon Blackmore as our private chef for the evening, we were treated to a seven course tasting menu – each item complete with an element including Boursin. And midway through the meal, a masterclass where yours truly created Filo Pastry Cigars.
The meal was absolutely exceptional. Some of my favourites were the Fig which was melt in mouth good as well as the Arancini to start. The Juicy Lucy burger was unbelievable and the chicken cooked to perfection. The entire evening was such a roaring success that we left the table very slowly after thoroughly enjoying each and every dish.
Joe’s tasting notes also included this on his phone which I thought would be amazing/hilarious to share. I really like his tasting notes actually!

First Course
Baked Fig with Honey, Garlic and Herb Boursin, panko breadcrumbs
Melt in mouth, Pablo breadcrumbs, very light
Second Course
Wild mushroom arancini with Garlic and Herb Boursin
Juicy Arancini, peppers delicious and crisp
Third Course
Seared tiger prawns with citrus and Garlic and Herb dressing
Zesty, fresh, Prawns so soft, sauce dripping
Fourth Course
Juicy Lucy sliders (mini beef burger) with Garlic & Herb Boursin
Burger, fluffy, ketchup tangy, chunky slider
Fifth Course
Filo pastry cigars with spinach, pine nuts, Garlic and Herb Boursin

Incredible chicken. Cooked fo perfection. Potatoes silky, greens sharp.

Fruit so full of flavour. Warm. Gooey.
