I have to say, the past week has thrown me for a complete loop.
Last Sunday we went up to London to stay overnight at St. Martin’s Lane before catching our Eurostar the following day. I was a little nervous about the snow and not making the journey up from Southampton in time on the Monday morning. So we were sensible and booked an overnight before the train off to Paris. Sensible. And a little too fun.
That was over a week ago and it’s been non-stop since.
London. Paris. London. Southampton. London. Newcastle. London. Southampton. London.
We’re currently catching a train up to London for the day right now. I’m meeting Rachel for lunch before heading to an event later this evening. (Actual edit. I’m not on the train anymore because I can’t even write a blog post in the span of an hour anymore – I’m now at the Renaissance Hotel in St. Pancras, at the bar doing some work and waiting for Joe to finish work for the day to head to the event).
I feel like I haven’t slept properly in weeks.
Travel. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
I know how ridiculous it sounds to be tired when I’ve been doing so many brilliant things lately.
But I am.
And that’s why I haven’t been able to wrap myself around writing a proper blog post in what feels like ages.
I miss writing. I’ve been working on creating so much content. The photographs are there. But the words haven’t had time to mature themselves alongside with it. The words can’t keep up with the busy lifestyle.
I wish they would. But they won’t.
So for now, all I can say is thanks for being patient. Thanks for letting me catch up on sleep. Because there’s so much content to come.
I just can’t quite wrap my head around it yet. Maybe I just need to be wrapped up in bed at the Hoxton Paris instead?
