Every week that write out ‘Photo Diaries’, I end up spelling it as Diairies.
Why? Who knows, but I keep having to autocorrect it. I’m not sure why I can’t adjust to it.
Anyways! This week’s photo diary concludes some of the snaps I took the day before we moved out of our London flat in Kensington.
We took a break from the stresses of the move. Instead deciding to wander in the sunshine, which unfortunately turned into a complete downpour of rain. All before finally ending our box and packing nightmares for the day. We decided to spend our last night in London and in Kensington at one of our favourite restaurants over the past few years. The Abingdon. Located literally one block away from the flat we used to live in. Which I’ve never said before, because you know, the safety of the Internet.
(Quick Q: Does anyone else do this? I never said what street we’ve lived on in three years online. Instead, I kept it vague and said Kensington. I never did Instagram stories even walking down my road. Paranoid? Or do you do the same? I’m interested to know what you guys do.)
So we indulged. A few glasses of wine and beers. The most delicious dinner. It was the perfect last night.
And then we got home and opened the bottle of Moet that had been sitting on our bar cart for at least two years.
It was the perfect moment. And I didn’t even take a photo. Some things are better left to keep as your own memory.
Kelly xoxo
