Talk about stunning views.
Landing in Newark before flying transatlantic to London was incredible.
That famous NYC skyline gets my heart fluttering every time. I miss living in the city.
But living there is a bit in the past for now, and I think it’s best that we look to the future… London.
We awoke Friday morning with the sun peering through our windows and the sprawling English countryside below.
And before we knew it the quaint country towns faded and we were greeted with this…
Hello gorgeous.
Welcome to London.
With a snapshot like that… you can’t stop yourself from taking as many photos as possible. All while trying to soak in the moment of awe.
Flying over London with the sun shining like this reminded me of those 1960s and 70s photographs and films that featured views above the cities below. The shots that have that bright but hazy quality to them.
I clearly couldn’t get enough.
Before I knew it, we were touching onto the ground at Heathrow.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen England looking quite as stunning as it did on Friday flying in.
Couldn’t have picked a better way to wake up and restart my time abroad.
I promise, I’m done with the airplane photos… for now.
What do you think? What’s the most spectacular site you’ve seen from the sky?
xx Kelly

Wow those are some awesome photographs, i’ve only taken three flights in my life so I don’t have too many flight experiences. But I did love watching all the shapes of the fields over Germany and Poland, and then flying over Newfoundland and Canada into Detroit, that was awesome.

All of these photos are incredible. I love flying. There is so much to see. It really makes you appreciate the world in a new light. It also shows you how big the world is compared to where you are form and how much there is out there for you.
