I’ve gone completely beauty product mad.
Let’s call it March Madness.
Before heading back to the United Kingdom for three weeks, I felt obligated to stock up on anything and everything beauty as well as investing in a few key staple spring accessories.
Want to take a peek?
I’ll start off with what beauty picks you haven’t seen yet.
Benefit’s Porefessional. I am loving this product. It’s been creating the perfect base layer to my beauty routine.
How I’ve been living without it before… I’ll never know.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid. You can purchase this product with or without the pump. I opted for without. It was an extra $9 just for a pump. So silly. I’ve been using my new foundation brush anyways. Just dab the product on your hand and use your brush to apply.
Okay, and I indulged in a MAC concealer. It’s been awhile since I’ve purchased any type of concealer, but my eyes have been looking extra tired lately, so this is a great quick fix for dark circles.
And to finish off my contouring look, I purchased a Maybelline FIT color. It’s a bit dark, a 330 shade, but blends well for contours with my very pale foundation shades.
PS. I should mention that I love a good pressed powder. Oops. Here we go again, I snagged the MAC Skinfinish Natural Pressed Powder. And I forgot to snap a photo of it.
Next up: Anastasia Brow Wiz in Caramel. Make Up Forever White Eyeliner. And a MAC foundation brush.
This brow pencil I’ve been using for years. So I will continue to replenish it immediately when it runs out. Such a great brow tamer and enhancer.
The white eyeliner is a new purchase. I’m in love with it. I’ve been applying it to my lower lid and waterline. This is an instant fix for tired eyes. I can’t sing enough praises for white eyeliner.
And lastly, my MAC foundation brush. I went into the MAC store recently (can’t you tell?) and the makeup artist applied everything by brush. Usually I use my hands (I know, so bad). So I invested in a foundation brush. It’s lovely and my skin has been improving significantly already.
And here’s one that I haven’t been able to use yet, but am SO excited to.
The Magnitone Pulsar. Think Clarisonic for the UK.
I was recently contacted by their company and given a blogger’s discount to purchase this. As I have a Clarisonic, I figured I could try this one out too.
Unfortunately, I’ve been living in the states for the past month and a half. So J brought this over with him when he came to visit but forgot to bring an UK to US adapter (as it needs to be plugged in and charged).
So stay tuned. I’m going to be doing a 7 day review on this within the next week as I’m in the UK and can finally charge it up.
And here are the beauty products that I love so much, they needed to be renewed.
Bumble and Bumble is absolutely amazing. I bought this travel sized bottle of the surf spray for my 3 week trip back to the UK.
And another bottle of the FatGirlSlim by Bliss.
I want to confidently say that it’s been treating my ‘cellulite.’ I’ve been using this twice a day, and to be honest, I feel like I’ve seen results. But this could just be a placebo effect. Either way, it smells great and feels tingly. So even just as a moisturizer, it’s superb.
And a few new non-beauty related products.
I am obsessed with the spring 2014 pastels trend.
I cannot get enough of these pale blues, light pinks and mint greens.
So let me a debut a few accessories I’ve acquired.
I picked up these two statement necklaces from Forever 21.
And I bought a handful of sale items from Urban Outfitters online. This headband is one of them.
The accessories theme for March (in honor of St. Patricks day, maybe?) is mint green.
What do you guys think about these products? Anyone using them as well?
And finally, what are your beauty recommendations for March? (Or accessory recommendations!)
xx Kelly
PS. I’m now back in the UK for three weeks! I’m absolutely loving this spring weather and my great escape from the USA snowstorms!!

Cute title of March Maddess! Being a basketball fan, love it! I love the FIT line from Maybelline. I have used the fatgirlslim line before but it was a tummy toner lotion! I really liked it, I also saw results! The staple pieces of jewelry you picked up are beautiful!
