Okay. So admittedly, I’ve been a little worn out. With all of our traveling finally catching up… I seem to have come down with a pre-winter cold.
But sometimes the best thing you need is to get a bit of fresh air. So we headed to the park.
And sometimes you’ve just got to kick the leaves…

The little river was flooded with wildlife. Although, I think the birds are a bit spoiled, every time we walked towards the water they swarmed to us searching for bread.
The birds were hungry and so were we.
We headed back home for some good old fashioned soup and sandwiches.
The best kind of recovery/sick food. It always warms me right up.
Yummmm tomato soup!
Break out the whole wheat bread.
Spinach, cheese and just the tiniest bit of butter on the bread.
Voilà! Perfect for my sick day and great after some time out in the cold.
Now back to bed and resting while I try to get over this cold!
