A British Coffee Chronicle

Coffee equals happiness.

I’m such a caffeine addict.

But you already knew that. You know I drink coffee all day every day. You know I talk about it, tweet it, Instagram it, and blog about it. I thought I couldn’t become any more involved with my coffee affliction until I saw this little infographic (love an infographic): A British Coffee Chronicle.

So I obviously felt the need to share these fun facts with all my favorite coffee lovers (tea lovers, I accept you too).

I know, I’m a coffee nerd.

What I’ve learned:

I’m in the coffee minority with my choices: Black coffee, no sugar.

Every day, approximately 70 billion cups of coffee are consumed in the United Kingdom. It feels like I consume about 60 billion all on my own.

And at one point in time, the Pope tried to ban coffee as he thought it was something that Satan’s followers would drink. Absolutely superb news.
