Valentine’s Day.
Admit it. It’s on your mind this week. Or if it’s not on your mind, it’s on mine. I love the red and pink hearts everywhere. I love eating chocolate. And if you know me, you know I absolutely love flowers (my Instagram tends to feature them frequently)…
Speaking of flowers!
In the spirit of this week, I couldn’t help but fall a little bit in love with this video. Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk came up with this completely ‘awww’ inspiring video featuring the gorgeous city of Verona and love in all it’s splendor.
In case you’ve forgotten, Verona is home to the ultimate love story, Romeo and Juliet. But I’ve got to warn you, brush off your outdated Shakespearean misconceptions. These days, Verona is pretty modern. So modern in fact, that well… it has a Cupidrone.
Yes, you’ve read it correctly. A Cupidrone. Seeking out couples and inspiring the inner romantic in us all. So watch the video and experience all the feels.
You see why I’m loving this? It’s the tiniest things that can brighten your day. A simple, unexpected red rose falling from the sky can change everything.
So this week, I’m challenging YOU to get inspired this Valentine’s Day! Go buy someone special in your life some flowers. Or a card, chocolate, give them a great big hug, just be proactive! Do something positive: for your best friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, parents, siblings or kids. Everyone deserves to know that they are loved.
I’m also experiencing severe wanderlust over here… Can someone take me to Verona please?

PS. This is a sponsored post, but the opinions on it are genuinely my own. Come on, the video is totally cute. Also, if you’re looking for flower inspiration, I’d fully recommend their website, funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk, they have so many ideas for decor, gifts, etc. It makes for a very interesting read! By the way, as a further disclaimer, I really do love Valentine’s Day!
