Happy Sunday and HOPPY EASTER YOU GUYS.
Sunday Coffee is apparently the only thing that stays consistent in my world of blogging. I haven’t posted anything since last week. Where has the time gone? The past month has been so so busy. With my Dad visiting, our travels to Bruges and my Mom being here last week… now it’s already Easter? When did this happen? I need time to slow down because it was just Christmas, righhhht?
Wrong. Fast forward three months and we’re here. Sunday Coffee on the last Sunday in March.
Wowza.
HERE’S YOUR SUNDAY COFFEE…
1. Rainbow BAGELS!
I finally got my hands on these bad boys and no, I’m not sorry for eating three of the packet of five. I’ve heard plenty about these, and yes, they taste like a normal bagel. Not sweet. Not sugary. Just good ol’ carbs.
2. My mom’s visit
All the happy things, my Mom’s visit to London was amazing. We did barely anything at all, except eat, drink and shop. With us living here for over a year and a half now, we’ve done most of the major touristy things when we have family visit. So now it’s all about relaxing without worrying about what to see.
3. Tate Modern
For good measure though, we popped into the Tate Modern as I’d never been before. It’s filled with weird, cool, wild art. There’s certainly something for everyone to like, and definitely things that are totally out there. Art is totally rad, isn’t it?
Can’t stop buying ALL OF THE THINGS. Treats to me from me. ✌️✌✌

4. Treats for me
I finally did it. After about ten years of discussion, I purchased a Louis Vuitton Neverfull (trust me, I will defy the name to the fullest) handbag. I’m head over heels in love with it. And while so many people have said that these aren’t ‘cool’ to carry around anymore… fun fact? I 100% don’t care because it’s for me and no one else. The rules of fashion are there are no rules. So there.
5. Brasserie Zedel
So, we’ve been into the uber Mad Men-esque Bar Americain before, but had yet to have dinner in the Brasserie. I booked a table for my mom and I where we ate the most amazing meals and chatted over wine. We stayed for awhile catching up, but if you’re ever in a hurry but want to grab a super fast bite, Zedel’s your place. Our mains arrived about 8 minutes after we ordered. Impressive for those rushing about, but sort of odd for people who’ve booked a dinner out that they want to enjoy. Regardless, I really, really enjoyed it. Of course, after we went into the Bar Americain where Joe met us for drinks and after a couple of rounds… snacks.
6. Sketch Afternoon Tea
Well, I know Sketch has been making headlines for their ‘no takeaway’ food policy. Regardless, their afternoon tea is a thing of legends. I booked table for my mom and I to go be girly and indulge in too much champagne and sweets. It’s completely worth it. I thought we’d be hungry after… everything looks tiny. But somehow I essentially needed to be rolled on out of there. It’s cute. And the bathrooms look like the lovechild of David Bowie and Andy Warhol.
7. BLONDE HAIR, ALL THE CARE
With guests visiting or us travelling during each weekend of March, I haven’t had a moment to sort my hair out. The roots were out of control. Don’t get me wrong, I love the dark juxtaposition with my super blonde hair. But it was time to say buh-bye to the roots. I popped into the Daniel Galvin salon in Kensington yesterday and had my hair transformed by their colourist, Lily. I’m beyond happy and also surprised to say that it’s probably the cheapest place I’ve had my hair done in London. Winner.
8. Hoppy Easter!
Can you believe it’s already Easter Sunday? I know, my fascination with how time passes is surely riveting at this point. But hey ho. We’re headed south to visit Joe’s family for the day and coming back to London tonight. It’s been ages since I’ve been back down south, so I’m looking forward to a little trip away.
I hope you all have fantastic Easter weekends, whether that’s with your family, friends or even on your own (I could fully use a Netflix and chocolate in bed binge session for the record).
Kelly xoxo
