Wandered into a storybook and found myself at Crat

Wandered into a storybook and found myself at Crathes Castle 🏰✨

In the Aberdeenshire countryside, this 16th-century gem (hello, 1596!), built by the Burnett family and packed with centuries of stories, it’s straight out of a fairytale with turrets and golden stone walls. The gardens are a dream (and will be even more so come proper spring and summertime), but it’s the castle’s silhouette against the bright sky that really stole the show on our visit 🌿⛅🏰
