HOW IT IS ACTUALLY SUNDAY ALREADY?!
Guys. It’s been one of those weeks.
Last Sunday, I was still on the high of London Fashion Week. We’ll call it the high before the inevitable crash because Monday was my ultimate downfall. I somehow caught the Fashion flu. It’s a thing, trust me. To be sitting at a great show and feel like you’re going to collapse. Not all that glamorous, you know.
The week was a tough one. It’s not easy to work all week and then keep up the tempo all weekend. So, I fumbled my way through this week. But I made it.
Let’s talk Sunday Coffee.
TIME FOR YOUR WEEKLY DOSE OF SUNDAY COFFEE…
1. Fashion Week with George at ASDA
Last Sunday I spent the morning filming and fashion spotting with the George at ASDA team. I thought my post would go live last week… but it’s coming out this week. So stay tuned for the behind the scenes!
2. Kate Moss’ first photoshoot
Monday night (while I was in my semi-comatose state) I went with the work crew to the Kate Moss exhibit at Home House. The photographer was there speaking about his experience with her and his general opinions on the Fashion Industry. It was without a doubt one of the best events I’ve attended lately. I also didn’t even try to edit this photo, this is truly a laaaazy Sunday Coffee post.
3. DIY Design
In case you missed it, I got crafty this week with new houseplants for the flat. See the three easy steps to adding some extra colour to your home.
4. Anger with Urban Outfitters
Guys, I rarely ever get annoyed. I rarely complain about customer service. It’s not my thing. Now, I’m kind of going to kick off. Joe and I ordered a bookcase from Urban Outfitters last Sunday with a 0-2 day delivery. Cool right? Wrong, so wrong. We tracked it and it was being held somewhere, so I sent an email to UO asking what’s up and they told me it was being returned to them, wouldn’t be coming to us and we’d get a refund in up to 28 days. We’ve already paid for it, and there’s apparently nothing we can do but wait to get refunded. Is this normal? I feel like it’s not and I’m kind of pissed about it.
5. Bleach it is
I’m getting reeeeeally bored with paying crazy amounts of money to get my hair done in London. So. I’m thinking it’s about time I learn how to bleach my hair on my own. I think this is both an insane and practical idea. I’d love to test run with this some night this week. But we’ll see if I actually go through with it or end up booking into a salon….
6. Snapchat
I’m having a lot of fun FINALLY learning how to use it! My username is @kellyprincew (the same as on Twitter) so follow along if you want a laugh with how I completely struggle to use it.
7. My Dad is visiting!
This upcoming week my Dad is coming over from the states to visit for a few days! I’m so looking forward to it and booked a few days off work so that I can actually spend time with him. Can’t wait!
8. Running class
Yesterday, I decided to get adventurous and mix up my usual gym routine by going to a ‘Tread and Shred’ running class. They are not messing around. It was HARD. I ran like a crazy woman. Think a mix of normal person and Phoebe Buffet on Friends. Today, my entire body hurts. It’s the good kind, but still.
That’s kind of all that’s been going on this past week.
It’s been a tame one compared to how the last few weeks have been. I’m looking forward to starting this week off on the right foot though and putting the madness of Fashion Week behind me.
Time for some R&R. (And by that, I mean I’m off to spin class…!)
Kelly xoxo
