It’s a lazy Sunday morning in West London.
After a whirlwind of a week, it’s exactly what I need. I’m craving pancakes, coffee and staying curled up in bed reading a good book.
I also see a reality check in my future because it’s rare to have a day like that. Instead, today is going to be incredibly busy. So grab a cuppa and get settled in to enjoy your weekly Sunday Coffee series.
Here’s the lowdown on the past week, what’s coming soon and what I’m loving right now.
TIME FOR YOUR SUNDAY COFFEE.
1. Get healthy with… is another new series I’d like to start writing about from here on out. I’m making the effort to get better at being me. And a healthy me tends to be the happiest. I was recently told about wagamama’s freshly pressed juices and now I can’t get enough. SO YUM.
2. Lumiere London. Blink and you’ll have missed it. London was taken over by artists, shutting down the incredibly busy Regent Street. We wrapped up warm and set off on the adventure on the last day of operations on Sunday. I’ve been trying to get better at doing more and being more involved, even on the nights before work. See, look at me being all adventurous?
3. I’VE BEEN PUBLISHED!!! When I set out my 2016 goals, one of them was to write more. Little did I know that two fantastic opportunities would come up, allowing me to become a regular contributor to both Time Out and The Culture Trip.
4. Seven signs you’re addicted to black coffee was my first piece to get published on Time Out. As you probably know, I’m addicted to black coffee so this was the perfect starting platform to write about. Check out the byline and everything! I’m way too excited about this.
5. The Best Avocado Toast Dishes in London followed later in the week on The Culture Trip. Definitely have a look for your weekend brunching inspiration! Also, please share these articles and link out to your social media followings, email the link, add it on Facebook, whatever you like – if you enjoyed it, share the love!
6. Home decor kick continues! I’m still on the hunt for amazing pieces for our flat. Did you know that H&M has a home section? It’s fantastic. I’m planning a post on home decor this week, so stay tuned.
7. Saturdays are for manicures and pedicures. I booked in yesterday to have my nails done. It’s ridiculous how having beautiful nails can affect how you feel. Am I the only one like this?
8. Hair did. And today I’ve booked an appointment at Blow Ltd to get my hair done. This weekend is for pampering because…
9. GALA DINNER PARTY AT THE SAVOY. Yes I’m more than a little bit excited to be attending my first black tie dinner. I have a gorgeous (and affordable) dress from ASOS that I’m wearing and I cannot wait. The event is part of a group that Joe is involved with for his work as a football journalist. PS. If you’re a footy fan, I suggest keeping up to date with his twitter. Anyways, expect all the photos.
10. Taking Monday off of work. Sundays have never felt so good. I decided to take Monday off so that I could fully enjoy tonight at The Savoy without worrying about waking up early and functioning properly.
That’s it from me, that’s your Sunday Coffee.
