Waking up overlooking the river and snow covered buildings was SUCH a treat at the gorgeous, Storchen Zürich, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts 😍🌎🗺️🧳. Zürich is a seriously underrated city and I can’t wait to go back again someday!

🌃 Book a room with a view, overlooking the River Limmat 😍 We stayed in the The Riverside Deluxe Double Room and LOVED watching the world go by
🥗 Lunch and drinks in the cosy Barchetta bar, especially over the holidays! Definitely grab a seat in front of the roaring fireplace and sip on a glass or two of red wine 🍷
☕️ Grab a hot drink on the patio outside, a bit cold in the winter but they’ve got cosy blankets and it’s quite festive
🍽️ Dining in their Michelin star, La Rôtisserie restaurant, the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL 😍
🫕 PS during the winter season, you can also visit their sister hotel ‘Widder Hotel’ for fondue in a ski chalet, only a 3 minute walk away

We loved our stay at Storchen Zürich - I already want to go back again! 🥰

We fell in LOVE with Zürich and I’ve got the perfect itinerary for a festive 72 hours in the city! ⬇️
Day One
🚃 Get a Zurich Card while visiting (you can do this on your phone!) for unlimited free transport, free entry to museums, lake cruises + more 🚃
🎄 The Singing Christmas Tree! Performances are at Werdmühleplatz, check timings before you go! 🎶
🎄 All of the Christmas Markets! It feels like markets are around each and every corner of the city. Start big with “Wienachtsdorf” at Sechseläutenplatz. Enjoy Glühwein + raclette at the balcony bar
🎅 Spot the Märlitram, a holiday tram for children, driven by Santa! It’s so magical to see and can be found right next to Wienachtsdorf.
🫕 Fondue, of course! Book into the Widder Hotel to enjoy in your own private dining ski lift 😍🚡🫕

Day Two:
☕️🍫 Hot chocolate and breakfast at Café & Conditorei 1842
❄️ Catch the S10 train to the top of Uetliberg mountain to Winterzauber Uetliberg
🎄 Zurich Main Station there’s an indoor Christmas market
🍫 Lindt Home of Chocolate Tour, a must when in Zürich 😍
✨Make sure to visit the Illuminarium Market at night, it feels so magical 💫

Day Three:
📖 Coffee at the B2 Wine Library
🎄 Zurich Münsterhof market in the Old Town
🫕 Melted cheese again? Don’t mind if I fondue! Book into Frau Gerolds Winterstube
🍸Try out some cool cocktails at Bar am Wasser

We had the BEST trip! Zürich really is the perfect festive city break and I can’t recommend it enough! 😍🎄❄️🫕

AD | pov: choosing what type of fantasy fairytale to star in with @adobeuk 🏰📚📖

Perhaps something wintery ❄️? An enchanted kingdom 🏰? Or a gothic romance 🐦‍⬛? An adventure on the high seas ⚓️?

I’m able to create the perfect settings for any adventure. With Photoshop’s Generative Fill powered by Firefly, I simply select the area I want to change and then type in what kind of scene I’d like to create: “wintery mountain peaks” or “a gothic castle on top of a hill”.

Then, using Firefly on the web, I generated video effects on a green screen to add in. Spot effects like the chimney smoke, stars twinkling, and birds flying! 🏰🏴‍☠️🐦‍⬛

Lastly, I added my video + creations into Premiere Pro and layered everything to create this moving scene 🎬🍿🎞️

Voilà! The magic of Adobe does it yet again, bringing fairytale adventures to life in no time! Which scene is your favourite?! 👀

It’s officially Christmas in London! A must for yo

It’s officially Christmas in London! A must for your festive activities is Festive Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester 🎄🫖🥂🍰

Afternoon Tea @thedorchester is an absolutely classic must-do when in London. The tea takes place in The Promenade lounge of the hotel and right now, it’s perfectly decorated for the holidays. Cosy velvet sofas and opulent chairs surrounded by Christmas trees and twinkling fairy lights. They have also created real gingerbread decor masterpieces of iconic London landmarks! Truly too beautiful to eat!

The Festive Afternoon Tea ⬇️
🥂 We started things off with a glass of Veuve Clicquot to set the scene.
🫖 I selected a chai tea to enjoy but the tea selection is truly extensive
🥪 Followed by a selection of tasty sandwiches, this is always my favourite part of afternoon tea - I love the savouries! My favourites were the Severn & Wye smoked salmon, Marie Rose sauce and lemon on rye bread, Cucumber, pine cream and sorrel on white bread and the Cambridge Bronze turkey, cranberry, chestnut and pork stuffing on malt bread (but honestly, loved them all)!
🧁 And of course, the sweets! Freshly baked scones with cream and jam and the most decadent selection desserts. The tea also comes with a little ice cream Gingerbread man, so cute!! 🍨

My favourite sweet was definitely the Almond mousse, a sour cherry compote, almond sponge. I spent ages thinking about what it reminded me of and just thought of it, our wedding cake! No wonder I loved it so much!

Festive Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester with a glass of champagne is £125 per person. It’s truly an indulgent, luxurious experience in one of the most iconic London hotel landmarks 🥰🎄🥂
