Sometimes, I wonder how I make it through the week.
It’s weeks like these where, after a whirlwind two days at the weekend in Paris, I’m back into the realities of London living. Tis the season of Christmas – and has been – in the industry for a few weeks and honestly it’s both the most wonderful time of the year, and the absolute busiest ever.
And somehow this week, I’ve found myself out each evening, with work events or out to dinner, out for a drink and I’ve woken up and miraculously it’s already Thursday. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time out and about, but oh my god I’m craving the weekend. I’m wishing that I can find the time (and energy) to get up and go running, instead of typing away at the computer screen. I’ve never loved blogging in the morning you know.
Luckily, this weekend, tonight actually, my dad flies into Londontown. I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend spending time together. I’m looking forward to sitting down to write content again. I feel like I’m always saying this. Creatively though, I’m back in the game. I’m buzzing with content, with ideas for posts. But I can’t seem to find enough hours in the day at the moment.
Maybe it’s a good thing to have a little time off from writing, but maybe this week is the wake up call that I’m looking for. Time to get back into the swing of things this time. Every few months I say, I’m going to stay on top of my blogging, I’m getting back into it. Is the time finally here? Or will I find myself slipping back off the wagon again?
Time will tell, and here’s hoping when I say I’m back in the game, I mean it.
