It’s February! I’m a week late to the game, but better late than never.
Soon it’s going to be Valentine’s Day. I know people have a big love/hate with the day, but I have to admit, I kind of love it.
An abundance of chocolate, flowers and wine? Well, wine is usually on my VDay list. Example: circa 2012 and my gift from J.
Plus I can’t get enough of the little boxes of conversation hearts. I love those… and the colors pink and red and okay, okay! I’m a sucker for the holiday! Single or taken, we can all enjoy a bit of this.
And a few days after Valentine’s, I’m hopping on a plane headed South for the winter. Alright, only one week. But I can’t wait to soak up the Florida sunshine and get out of these winter blues. And I’m craving these sunsets again.
So that’s what is happening in my world.
Here’s what else I’m loving and feeling inspired by this February…mainly a lot of pastels and light colors.
Pink Coats
By Springtime, I’ll be disappointed in myself if I haven’t invested in a pink coat. I love these looks.
Pastel Nails
These bright, but light fun colors are all I want to see right now. Even though I’m a diehard dark nails fan… this is such a great way and kind of noncommittal way to integrate pastels into your current style.
Kate Spade Handbags
The pink pastel crossbody/clutch I received as a gift for Christmas, I am a little bit obsessed with it and all things Kate Spade right now.
Jean on Jean
I’ve been wearing this a lot lately, but have yet to do a fashion post on it. Soon though, very soon. In the meantime here are some inspired looks to start rocking ASAP.
Skinny Watches
I think by now we all have a big chunky watch in our collection, but now the skinny watch trend is taking center stage. With watches from ASOS to Michael Kors there is a price and style to match everyone.
I think every month it’s good to integrate even the smallest new pieces to keep things looking fresh.
