Happy Friday the 13th everyone!
I can’t think of a better way to start the day than doing exactly what I did. Up WAY too early because I couldn’t sleep, coffee with Joe, and then a killer workout.
My body sort of hates me at the moment with all the extra exercise. But I feel like I’m finally starting to take those positive steps towards leading a healthier “physical” lifestyle. Mainly because I’m not about to cut out food or drink, so it’s time to up the exercise, eh?
But I’m not here to show you my “before” photos before starting my new fitness regime. I’m here to talk about my trip to Brighton last Monday! I’ve finally edited my photos and thought I’d share a little snapshot of our incredibly dreary (weather-wise) but wonderful day in Brighton.
Last year, these incredible women (Leigh, Lauren, Jess and Jaye) on a trip to Ibiza. We all got along and had a cracking good time. It’s been one of the best girls trips I’ve ever been on.
And nearly a year on? I get to call these women close friends.
After months, we finally settled on a date for a reunion. We were sadly missing Jaye – catch you next time! But the rest of us journeyed to visit Lauren in her new home of Brighton.
So what’s a girl gang to do on a rainy day in Brighton
- Super yummy pizzas at Fatto A Mano
- Vegan doughnuts and coffees at Glazed
- Strolling down the famous lanes
- Photobooth snaps
- Tactical pub visit
- A watery walk to the Brighton Pier
- Endless Belgian Fries at BeFries
A surprisingly jam-packed day considering how rainy it was. Seriously, my boots had soaked through, and Leigh’s flared trousers had soaked up the groundwater as well.
It’s not always as glamorous as Ibiza, I have to tell ya.
