In case you didn’t know, I’m kind of addicted to wearing jeans. All day, every day. If I could wear them to work, I’d truly never be wearing anything else.
Sometimes we can’t help but snuggle into our favourite jumper and jeans. We know it feels good, we know it looks good. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
But all of that is starting to change.
It’s good to be different, to mix up your style uniform every now and then. So when the team at George from ASDA got in touch and challenged me to mix up my #styleYOUniform, how could I say no?
For the past week, I’ve shed my usual weekly look. During the work week, our dress code is all black, all fabulous. I decided to wear this gorgeous pair of leggings to work at least twice (they are SO comfortable) instead of my standard black dress.
And each night when I got in? I changed. Instead of tossing on my favourite blues… I opted for new pieces. Like this tan suede dress and soft autumnal wrap. Or the leggings paired with the plaid shirtdress.
Gone are the days of the jean.
While I couldn’t photograph my new looks at night or before work (who else hates the demise of natural light during the winter?), I did style them in a photoshoot this weekend (we visited family who live outside of London) of how I wore them during the week.
I’m so in love with these trousers. Simple. And they seamlessly fit for casual situations and for work life. The best of both worlds.
And the shirtdress of my dreams. PS I kind of feel a little bit like Draco Malfoy with the green and my shiny new hair colour. I’d recommend pairing it with leggings or tights as the weather is a little too cold for bare legs lately.
Ah the tan suede dress. The fabric feels elegant and smooth. I’m truly impressed with the George line.
Naturally, paired with this Aztec wrap. After all, it was slightly chilly out…
Okay okay, now let’s get serious for a minute.
You may have never thought of shopping for your clothes at ASDA. But I’m wholeheartedly blown away by the quality, the comfort and the style and ahem – the price tag. For a semi broke Londoner, George ticks all the boxes that fashionistas are looking for without worrying about breaking the bank.
So who’s with me? It’s time to ditch the #styleYOUniform!
Kelly xoxo

I normally live in my jeans but I’m a little bit in love with that suede dress!
