Happy Sunday Coffee!
It’s a bright and beautiful morning in London with temperatures set to be scorching and it feels like life on an island now more than ever. When I walked to work on Friday, I had this overwhelming sense that it feels like Florida weather. Waking up and not bundling up to walk into my living room = instant happiness.
This week’s been another mental one. It seems that this summer is going to be jam packed with activities, events and travel and I can’t wait. Speaking of travel, we’re getting into the countdown until we fly to the states… 19 days! We’re travelling back for two weddings and a trip to San Francisco in between. We still need to book our hotel for part of our stay so, stay tuned to see how well that goes.
It’s been another time where I’ve SKIPPED Sunday Coffee because of the Bank Holiday and ~MY BIRTHDAY~ last week so this is packing in 2 weeks of all the fun. I know, you can’t wait.
TIME FOR YOUR SUNDAY COFFEE…
1. Bank Holiday Weekends
I genuinely love that England has Bank Holiday Weekends, especially as there’s one every year right around my birthday. What a great present, right? Bank Holiday Weekend meant Monday I was off from work, and we could enjoy an entire extra day. What would we do? More on that later.
2. Fashion photos
I’m BACK you guys. It’s been months of me shying away from the fashion and outfit posts. Being semi unhappy with how unfit I’ve been has totally deterred me, but the other week I had this epiphany and I don’t really care anymore. I’m happy being me (but I’m also trying to get back into working out and being healthy for good measure – just don’t tell that to the pizza I had this week, ‘kay?). So expect more fashion and outfit posts on the blog, like these.
3. Late night walks in London
I love living in a big city. It means that if you feel like going out for a walk on a random night, there’s always something going on. Joe and I went for a nighttime stroll that I documented on Snapchat.. add me here by snapping my Snapcode above to follow along with my daily ramblings! Or add me by username, @kellyprincew
4. Dungarees
How adorable are these new babies? I am so beyond in love with them and would wear them everyday if I could. They’re from Liquor N Poker, a brand that’s up on the ASOS website. I’ve included them in another fashion post that went live last week, 5 fashion pieces you need this spring.
5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
Love em or hate em. I kind of do both. I love my birthday, a day all about me? Yes please. There’s just that slight downside of aging. However, I’ve realised that getting older means getting wiser, so I think from here on out I’m supporting birthdays as a fully positive, glass full to the brim scenario. I know so much more about life than I did a year ago, so I’m interested to see what’s to come this year for me.
It’s pre-birthday gin o’clock! ????????????

6. Surprise Brunches
Speaking of birthdays, the day before mine, Joe and my friends organised a very sneaky surprise brunch at The Ivy. Unbeknownst to me on Monday we were going out for lunch, to a surprise destination, and all my friends were waiting for me in the restaurant. I didn’t suspect a thing, so well done at secret keeping you lot! We brunched at The Ivy with rounds of Prosecco before moving on to an outdoor pub where we spent the afternoon in a beer garden sipping on G&Ts. A perfect pre-birthday? I know so.
7. Rum Shack in Soho
I really do love my job you guys. This is what my Wednesday looked like above. ALL THE FOOD and Caribbean dreams come true.
8. Bob Bob Ricard
Last night I went with my friend Grace to Bob Bob Ricard. We’d been dying to check it out for ages, so we casually booked in for dinner at 5:30pm. For the record, it’s ridiculously difficult to get a booking, let alone a normal dining time. We pressed for champagne, ate oysters and had a fantastic meal. The inside is also very Mad Men decor, so we were definitely fans.
9. Outdoor Picnics
Today I’m meeting up with my friends for an outdoor picnic in the park. Isn’t this just the most perfect time for it? I’m so excited to lay in the sun, sip on a Prosecco and catch up with the girls.
It’s been a busy few weeks and what’s been happening in Sunday Coffee is the starting point. I am so excited for this summer, and this weather is making me the absolutely happiest.
Here’s to a fabulous Sunday! Enjoy it!
Kelly xoxo
