You may not have heard of this place, but it’s about to become your new go to spot in London.
Chez Patrick.
A small little French restaurant located in Kensington, the amount of times you may walk past and think, oh that would be lovely to go in for dinner… Finally, we did.
On my birthday, Joe planned a night out. Dinner, drinks, the works.
We were greeted by the incredibly friendly staff as we took our seats. A basket of freshly baked bread placed down immediately next to us. Amazing.
We decided to get the avocado crab salad to start, and share. Chez Patrick let you share starters and whatever you like without a fuss. They brought us two plates. Win. This was incredible by the way. I can’t recommend it enough. you’re going to get annoyed right now, because I’m about to rave about everything.
Soon after, we moved onto dinner. I picked the salmon, at which point the owner, Patrick, joked ‘You flew what, 4,000 miles to order the salmon?” He’s very charismatic and interacts with the entire restaurant while you’re there. Definitely for diners who like a side bit of conversation and entertainment.
The salmon was incredible. Everything is amazing and it’s all well portioned. You don’t feel like you’ve eaten too much at any point. It’s delicious.
J ordered the chicken with lemon. We both finished our plates. Enough said.
We shared sides, veggies and an order of chips.
Naturally, as it was my birthday, we had to get dessert.
I ordered the pistachio and fig tart, with a scoop of pistachio ice cream.
J tried the lemon tart. Both were good… but mine was definitely better!
It was a fantastic night at all around, and I for one, will most certainly be back.
Kelly xoxo

That looks AMAZING, Pistachios and figs are my favourites, so I think I’d looooove that tart. I am a sucker for anything sweet haha. Everything looks so good! 😀
