I’ve woken up with a cool breeze, the sunlight streaming through the window. Aren’t Sunday mornings the best?
This week has been another busy one, can’t you believe its the end of September already? Me either. It’s been a trickier week, I’m struggling with coming to grips with motivation to write, while simultaneously forcing myself to make it happen.
I have two articles for Time Out’s blog in the pipeline that I really need to sit down and focus on this afternoon. I have blog posts that I’ve been meaning to write for months. Yes, I genuinely need to get my inspiration back.
So here’s the Sunday coffee:
Long weekends
A long weekend away is well overdue for me and Joe. So I’m now on the lookout for places to visit. The only decision we need to make, UK or international…
Back to reading
My writing seems to improve after I’ve been reading books, reading other blogs and reading magazines. All I’ve been reading lately is the news. Meh. I need some descriptive beautiful literature to sink my teeth into. If you have any recommendations, let me know if the comments.
Primrose Hill
In case you’re not following me on Instagram, you’ll have missed the fact that I took 1,000 photos last weekend of our little trip around Primrose. I’ve only been around there a few times, but I have to say, the entire little area is house goals. It’s gorgeous. We also discovered Greenberry Café, where we sat outside and enjoyed brunching. This is what Sundays are meant to look like.
I’ve been in the midst of figuring out what I want my Instagram to be comprised of and how I want it to look. It’s super hard to maintain when working full time and posting three times a day. That may sound silly, but it’s challenging! So I’m starting to make a list of my favourites, the ones to watch. I’m thinking of putting together a series of blog posts on whose feeds I’m crushing on. Sound interested? Let me know your favourites below so I can check them out!
Togle with M&S
OK. We’re all basically in love with M&S food (and recently their clothing lines TBF), so it was interesting to hear that M&S have teamed up with Togle as their partner for delivery service. We tried it out yesterday and our shop was delivered within the hour. Talk about quick service. I’m putting a post up on this tomorrow… stay tuned!
Goodbye to the gym
I’m sad to say that I think we’re going to cancel our gym membership with Equinox. I’ve loved it. I’m obsessed with it. But I don’t really think I can justify paying for it anymore. Joe and I go frequently, but even that isn’t covering the costs. We’re signed up until the end of November, so sadly after that, I think we’re going to be parting ways. Devestating. But I think our bank account is going to be one happy little babe.
Pan Chai at Harrods
Oh my goodness. Let me tell you about this phenomenal experience. I was invited along to try the incredible menu at Pan Chai in Harrods and wow. Just wow. I’ve tried their sister restaurant Mango Tree before which is excellent, and honestly every time I’m in there I have this insanely excellent experience. You know how occasionally in the UK customer service is lacking… not here. They service is impeccable and they’re consistently aware of when you need a new drink or your next course, and not in an over the top way – in the just right way. I have a full post on the experience going up this week. Stay tuned.
That’s all for me today. Now I’m off to get writing on my Time Out articles and maybe out for drinks at a café nearby later tonight.
Not bad for a Sunday you guys, not bad at all.

I hear ya on the whole instagram thing – but I personally like ‘real’ accounts that aren’t too curated…
