That Time At The Savoy

Um yes, that time at The Savoy.

I’ve realised that over the past TWO entire months, I’ve kind of left out massive chunks of my life from my blog. Why? Apparently I live a very busy life and at the weekends I’d rather catch up on episodes of Law & Order than get my blog on.

It happens.

And it just so happened that Joe and I went to a very special evening at The Savoy.

I won’t give too many details because I was the guest and it actually for once wasn’t about me (a rarity, I know).

But here’s a little snippet of what we got up to!

We arrived around 6ish for the festivities, passing these fabulous rooms along the way. I’ve vowed I will return for afternoon tea.

Being fancy, my hair was fairly short here, so um you can tell how long it’s been since we were there.

And it’s ALL about the details, this was the clutch I used at our wedding. Because who doesn’t have a clutch for their wedding?

Of course, Joe featured his ahhhhmazing cufflinks if I do say so myself!

For our wedding I bought Joe a pair of cufflinks personalised from Etsy. One is a map of the city of Pittsburgh, where we met in the states. And the other is London, where we were planning our move after the wedding.

They are super good gift ideas, so I’d definitely recommend them.

And lastly, a parting shot of us at the end of the night. Shockingly, we still look OK.
