Happy Sunday and a very happy Sunday coffee to you.
Yep. I was busy living the past two weeks and haven’t really been blogging. It’s one of those horrible feelings, where I know I have so much to write, but I also have so much in my day-to-day life that I need to get through. Work/Life/Blog balance. If someone has the formula to making this work… let me know? I’ll buy you a cocktail.
So the last two weeks have been BUSY. Which means I may or may not have even managed to get photos. OOPS.
TIME FOR YOUR SUNDAY COFFEE…
1. Hard Rock Cafe Brunching
So two weeks ago on Sunday (was it really that long ago? – ah!) I was invited to check out the Hard Rock Cafe’s new brunch menu. It’s basically all about bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, and soaking up last night’s booze in your system with a greasy good fry up. My full post is coming this week, so stay tuned.
2. Another night at The Abingdon
Yeah, so we have a favourite spot and we’re not even a little bit sorry about it. The Abingdon is a cosy little place where I can head in for a glass of wine (or two, or hell, give me the bottle) and dinner. It’s the perfect last minute spot and somehow we always manage to get a table. This week they gave us EXTRA fries because they love us. Or they made too many. Whatever.
3. Stormy London
Random storms are always the best and we managed to at least get inside before getting caught up in this on our way to The Abingdon. Those who were sitting outside? Not so much…
4. WE GOT A GREEN SOFA YOU GUYS
My most exciting news of all. The Velvet Green Sofa from Made.com is now in our flat. It had to get in through the window, and I cannot believe it didn’t drop down our building and split in half. I love it and I’m canceling all plans for the next month so I can Netflix and Chill from the sofa. I’m not even a little bit sorry.
5. All Aboard the Good Ship Benefit!
In beauty and fun news, I went to the launch party at the Good Ship Benefit along the River Thames. It might be the coolest thing you’ll do this month/summer. Grab a cocktail, sit outside and while you’re at it, get your brows did.
6. Yashin Sushi
I’ve found a new sushi place! It’s right in Kensington and I’ve probably walked by it hundreds of times. Well, we finally went in for all things sushi and wine. This sushi seriously rivals that of Sushi Samba (although the comparison is unfair as SS has the great views and theatrical experience of being there). Yashin however, holds up on the taste comparison. The entire concept is ‘Without Soy Sauce’ and I guarantee you don’t need to dip your roll.
7. Start the week with…
All of the foods. This is what our office looks like on Mondays. I’m trying to (so far, successfully) stick to the yogurt and berries.
8. BOOKED FOR SAN FRANCISCO
I can’t actually remember if I’ve mentioned this on the blog or not, but Joe and I have booked our flights to San Francisco for when we’re back stateside. I’m SO excited. If you have any good San Francisco recommendations, let me know because I’ve never been. Eek!!
There’s so much more that’s happened the past two weeks. There’s been plenty of work related things that have kept me busy. But it’s all super good things that are getting me excited for the summer.
What have you been up to this week? Tell me about your Sunday Coffee. 🙂

I loved Yashin Ocean House, I’d definitely be keen to try their other restaurant.
